Bio

I am an award-winning, bestselling ghostwriter with a PhD and JD, specializing in memoir, biography, and literary nonfiction that carries intellectual, ethical, and cultural weight. My work focuses on translating complex expertise, lived experience, and high-stakes subject matter into compelling, publishable long-form narratives.

Over more than two decades, I have ghostwritten, written, and edited books for authors published by leading university and trade presses, including Simon & Schuster, Knopf, Vintage, Verso, McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press, the University of Chicago Press, Routledge, and others. My work has been recognized by national bestseller lists, the National Science Foundation, and the American Bar Association.

My background spans radio and broadcast journalism, medical forensics (including service as a death investigator), academia (teaching and research), and federal policymaking in criminal justice reform and anti-sexual-violence advocacy. I have also worked in industry, advising on technology investment, digital transformation, and data strategy. This interdisciplinary experience allows me to work effectively with authors whose stories resist simplification and demand both narrative care and analytical rigor.

My process is collaborative, discreet, and method-driven. I work closely with authors to capture voice, structure complex material responsibly, and shape manuscripts that are not only engaging, but durable—books designed to withstand public scrutiny and stand the test of time. Many of my projects involve reputational, legal, or legacy considerations where judgment matters as much as prose.

I have lived and worked extensively in Ireland, Wales, England, Germany, and Romania, and bring a cross-cultural perspective informed by language study, ethnographic training, and deep listening.
