Bio

I am the founder of The Owens Publishing Company. Since starting the company in 2020, my team and I have helped clients across every walk of life turn their non-fiction book (memoirs, authority books, and educational guides) ideas into finished, published works. I have worked with doctors, counselors, entrepreneurs, faith leaders, educators, and community advocates, each accomplished in their own right. It has been a privilege to help each of them tell their story.

As a published author myself, I know firsthand what it feels like to put your real story on paper, the fear of being seen, the doubt about whether it matters, and the relief of finally getting it right. That experience means I never ask a client to trust a process I haven’t lived myself.

My background as a writer, spans over three decades, including many years in corporate communications producing books, manuals, white papers, policies and procedures, annual reports, company-wide correspondence, executive bios, technical documentation, and more. If it can be written, chances are I’ve written it, and that depth of experience is what I bring to your story.

This work is more than a business for me. It is a calling, even a ministry, and I am passionate about helping people finally tell the stories they have carried for years.

You do not need to be a writer to become an author. My role is to draw your story out, protect it, and shape it into something that sounds unmistakably like you. Every engagement begins with structured discovery and in-depth interviews, conducted with a signed confidentiality agreement in place before we ever begin. Your recorded interviews are yours to keep, permanently. It’s a complete record of your voice, preserved for the generations who come after you. Also, you retain full editorial control over what makes it into the finished book.

Because this work takes real time and attention, I accept a limited number of ghostwriting clients each year.
