Bio

I have ghostwritten three full-length books, two of them published by Wiley. The first became an Amazon bestseller on release and holds 4.8 stars across nearly 500 reviews. The author credited me in the acknowledgments of both books, and in the second he writes that we wrote it together, calling himself the big-idea storyteller and me the detail-oriented gap filler. He also notes that we went from our first conversation to a finished 75,000 word manuscript in about four months. The third book, a memoir for a musician, stays under NDA until it publishes.

Under my own name I have published five books, most recently Paper Squares and Purple Stars, a memoir that holds 4.9 stars across nearly 90 reviews. I have also written hundreds of scripts and weekly newsletters for clients with large audiences, which is where I learned to pick up a voice quickly and hold it across a full manuscript.

I work in memoir, business and prescriptive nonfiction, technology, and narrative nonfiction. My process starts with recorded interviews and an outline you can argue with, then chapters on a schedule so you are never waiting and wondering. I am comfortable being invisible, and I sign whatever confidentiality terms a project requires.

I am based in Maryland and work with clients anywhere, remote or on location.
