Erika Cohen
Bio
I specialize in thought leadership, business memoir and finance. I use my background as a journalist to partner with executives to write books that educate, engage and inspire.
I have spent my career telling stories, and in doing so, ghostwriting found me. While writing and editing at Business NH Magazine, a glossy business trade monthly, I took CEOs running and strapped a recorder to their arm to capture our free flowing and unfiltered conversation. I then wrote a column based on our discussion. One of the CEOs I took running talked about wanting to write a book, and I left the magazine to help her. That was over a decade ago. I have since worked on book projects with other CEOs I took running. My book projects have been published by major publishers and one of my financial book projects sold over 15,000 copies in multiple languages.
Besides ghostwriting I also provide book editing services, magazine editing, and I adjunct teach media writing and media ethics at the college level. Six years of teaching makes me a better ghostwriter as the best teachers are good listeners and good at explaining and discussing suggested changes.
This is how Tom Raffio, a repeat ghostwriting client, describes working with me:
