Bio
Kate Silver is on a never-ending quest to understand what makes people tick. As a journalist-turned-ghostwriter, she helps individuals, families and founders craft their stories. She specializes in writing legacy books that preserve family stories for future generations.
Kate has written several Frommer’s guides, including books about Las Vegas and Chicago. Over the last two decades, her work has appeared in hundreds of print and digital publications, including the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, Saveur, Men’s Health and O the Oprah Magazine. She also works closely with corporate clients to ghostwrite thought leadership pieces and highlight the work they do.
Kate lives in the Avondale neighborhood of Chicago (recently named one of the top neighborhoods in the world by Time Out Magazine!), and loves to explore her city, and other cities, by bike and on foot. You can see some of her work at www.thekatesilver.com.
