Rachael Asikpo

Bio

“Wouldn’t you want your loved ones to be able to ask you questions even when you’re gone?” This question embodies the focus at the heart of Rachael’s drive as a passionate ghostwriter.

She realized this purpose when a story from her mother’s youth inspired a cataclysm in her life: her mentality, her drive, and her approach to relationships. Astounded by the inspiration from one story, Rachael realized a dearth in personal storytelling around her, including her loved ones and extended relatives.

Before this epiphany, she had already committed herself to storytelling as a freelance fiction ghostwriter across platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and locally, where she has helped 43 clients to complete or develop their stories. However, by seeking out the fragments of her identity from the experiences of her predecessor, Rachael discovered a greater interest and immediately pivoted to the calling, even as a fresh graduate in an extremely different field. (B.Sc. Physiology).

Writing is not just a means of communication to Rachael; it is a part of her identity as a writer, centered at the heart of her zeal, and as such, she is the kind of writer to ponder over your book until it truly satisfies your vision. She is also the kind of writer who reviews her writing twice or thrice to produce the finest possible version.

Since becoming a Memoir/Legacy ghostwriter, Rachael has written for 12 clients, including Ruth Doeschner, whose book was “Going Off Script.” Rachael has built her social media around the sole purpose of encouraging others to tell their stories, whether officially in a book or unofficially. On her website, Rachaelasik.com, she shares insightful articles to help new writers and others embrace the noble quest of telling stories.

Narratives Rachael has written about before:

  1. Grass to Grace,
  2. Redemption story, hope renewed, a lesson to pass
  3. Pivotal change, Adapting to change
  4. Strength in numbers, principles, or learned values

Why you should choose Rachael as your Legacy or Memoir Ghostwriter:

From the beginning, stories have been a monumental instrument of identity to Humanity. We have preserved knowledge and culture by documenting or verbal storytelling, passed from generation to generation. Your story could be an important marker for people related to you, even people not yet born, and in a time not yet realized:

• By authoring a story, you choose to take a still in time, much like in photography, for the benefit of someone else.
• You are also choosing to do something beyond yourself, outliving your own time.
• We are mortal, but our ideas are not! Life can be fleeting, but our achievements can be preserved in storytelling.

If you are looking for a ghostwriter who genuinely cares about your story, send me a message. A recently published client had this to say about my work:
“Rachael approached my story with the finesse only a talented writer would.”
And I aim to do the same for all my clients.
