Erick W Mertz
Erick Mertz was born in the Pacific Northwest where he currently lives with his wife and child. He studied English and Comparative Literature at the University of Oregon, while writing for The Oregon Voice magazine and serving as a late night radio disc jockey. He started his ghostwriting journey in 2004 after finishing as a semi-finalist in the Academy's Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting for his script, "The Fawn". He has gone on to win numerous screenwriting awards and written television and feature length scripts for option and production.
In addition to screenwriting, he has written fiction for both self-publishing clients and traditionally published authors. He specializes in creating innovative memoirs for a diverse array of clients, from survivors to business leaders to celebrities. In non-fiction, he works with clients to find the core message behind their business and use that to reach their ideal customers. Similarly, in editing, he enjoys developing purpose driven stories and fiction focused on thrilling audiences.
