Bronwyn Howard

Bio

I have been ghostwriting for approximately 3 years, specializing in nonfiction books focusing on subjects including wildlife conservation, organic gardening and farming, renewable energy, homesteading, herbal remedies, and many other aspects of sustainable living and business, including climate change and environmental issues. I have also written self-help books on managing emotions and personality disorders, as well as children’s books on nature and animals. I am interested in people and business and am keen to write biographies and books about how businessmen have built their companies from the ground up.

I began writing when I was about six years old and have been writing professionally for the past 30 years. I started out as a travel writer, writing articles for magazines and newspapers, updating travel guides, and similar endeavours. I worked in the travel industry for some years, doing marketing, which included writing copy for websites and brochures, and other promotional material. For approximately eight years, I produced and wrote most of the material for a series of digital magazines focusing on nature conservation, responsible travel, environmental issues and sustainability. I have also written nonfiction books and novels of my own.

I have often done other work in addition to writing, which has exposed me to several different industries, and my natural curiosity about life has led me to pursue many interesting hobbies and interests. I have worked as a legal secretary, marketing consultant, communications and marketing manager, conference/event organizer, team building facilitator, environmental education officer, tourist guide, and environmental journalist. My hobbies and interests include reading, history, walking and hiking, birdwatching, visiting game and nature reserves, 4×4 driving, camping, kayaking, and helping others. I am involved with a church feeding scheme, belong to a local Rotary club, and am a Friend of the MOTHs. I am friendly and professional and believe in going the extra mile for my clients.

I am based in South Africa and geared up to work remotely – I make extensive use of platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, Whatsapp, and similar channels, so distance is not an issue. I have worked mainly with North American and European clients and am used to working across multiple time zones. I have received very good feedback from my clients. I am a people person and able to work with folk from all walks of life. I work quickly and am thorough with good attention to detail and a flair for finding the essence of what my clients wish to convey to their readers. I enjoy doing research and have extensive experience interviewing people, both online and off. I am also able to craft professional book outlines. I generally go the extra mile to ensure that my clients receive quality books that will resonate with their readers.
