Free writing tools to boost your productivity and profitability

Online writing tools can help organize your work and your days.

When I read Daphne Gray-Grant’s blog post today about 26 free writing tools, I was happy to see some of the programs I use listed. And I was intrigued by others I’ve never heard of.

I’ve used the Pingdom Website Speed Test to see how quickly my websites load (fast enough).

I’ve tried Toodledo but gave up on it soon thereafter – I think it was a little too detailed in how tasks were organized. I couldn’t keep up with it.

I’d forgotten about The Hemingway App, which tells you how readable your writing is – assigning it a score correlated with a school grade level – as well as pointing out weaknesses, such as passive voice. I’ve only used it to test for reading level so I’m happy to be reminded of all that it can do.

Go check out her post. I know you’ll find tools you didn’t even know existed – like the Headline Analyzer. Can’t wait to get help improving my headlines.

Thank you for sharing your research and tips regarding the productivity, which is much needed nowadays, for everyone. I feel like I have lost all motivation to work, so I am looking for many ways to find it.
