Shadley Grei

Bio

As a ghostwriter, I pride myself on seeing beyond the book. With a background in marketing, media, content creation, and IP strategy, I bring a 360° perspective to every project. I also publish select titles through my hybrid publishing company, Kingbird Press, which gives me insight into the entire journey—from blank page to bookshelf—and how to position a book as the foundation of a thought-leadership platform.

I’ve worked with business leaders, consultants, and everyday people with extraordinary stories to tell, across memoir, business, narrative nonfiction, fiction, and screenwriting. My single goal is to turn ideas into action.

Some clients come to me with a full draft in need of structure and polish. Others bring only an idea and trust me to guide the process from start to finish. I’ve ghostwritten deeply personal memoirs, thought-provoking business books, and co-authored works that weave research with lived experience. No matter the project, my focus is always on honoring the author’s voice while creating a book that resonates with readers.

My debut novel, Before Closure, was praised by Kirkus Reviews as “careful, observant, and quietly precise.” I bring that same care and precision to every client project I take on.
