Roxanne Troup
Bio
Award-winning children’s author and ghostwriter, with nearly 70 titles to her credit and over 20 ghostwritten books, Roxanne Troup writes books that entertain, educate, and inspire.
She has worked with both publishers and individuals—from the Big 5 to educational presses, NYT bestsellers to self-published authors—to write picture books, chapter books, and adult nonfiction over the last fifteen years. A PAL member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) with a background in education, Roxanne is comfortable writing both fiction and nonfiction material and enjoys seeding her work with classroom tie-ins that boost marketability to teachers and schools. Open to multiple genres and formats of children’s writing (picture book through young middle grade) Roxanne specializes in non-rhyming picture books, early readers, series installments (with or without licensed characters), middle grade nonfiction, and chapter books.
She lives in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family or curled up next to the fireplace with a cup of cocoa and a good book.
