Luna Corbden
Bio
Luna Corbden (also writing as Luna Lindsey) lives in the Inner Mountain Northwest and has been writing since age four. They spent 15 years in IT where their work often involved technical writing.
In 2010, Corbden began a new career writing sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. Their short stories have appeared in anthologies, the Journal of Unlikely Entomology, Penumbra eMag, and Crossed Genres. Their novel, Emerald City Dreamer, is about faeries in Seattle and the women who hunt them. Their latest nonfiction book is Recovering Agency: Lifting the Veil of Mormon Mind Control on the topic of religious trauma recovery.
Corbden currently pays the bills by part-time freelance ghostwriting, editing, research, and book coaching. They have edited and ghostwritten five complete books since 2019, plus several smaller projects. Their most recent ghostwriting project is a memoir entitled Sexcommunicated by Natasha Helfer telling the story of a prominent sex therapist who was excommunicated from her church. Corbden also wrote Helfer’s book proposal and helped her find a publisher. It should be on shelves (with co-byline) by 2027.
Corbden has a foundational knowledge in psychology, with particular focus on C-PTSD, religious trauma, and neurodiversity. Corbden has also contributed to projects teaching critical thinking skills to average people.
