Bio

Lawrence L. Allen has authored both fiction and nonfiction books, first published (in 2 languages) by HarperCollins/AMACOM in 2009: the nonfiction book “Chocolate Fortunes: The Battle for the Hearts, Minds, and Taste Buds of China’s Consumers.” It is a global marketing treatise, based on his first-hand experience as an executive for both Hershey and Nestle in China. Since then, he’s authored 4 original works of fiction (novels and novellas), winning Kathryn Raaker’s “Best Political Thriller” award in 2014, and Sir Alan Mooney Reviews’ “Best Visionary Fiction” award in 2023. He has professionally ghostwritten an additional 7 books, principally biographies. After a 30-year international business career Allen is now authoring professionally—for himself and others.
