Bio

Charlotte found her calling at age eight, when a teacher declared her a born writer, then misplaced it upon motherhood. In her thirties, she shredded the dystopian novel she wrote years earlier. As a journalist, she fell in love with research and reported facts vs. fake news. After stints as a marketing specialist for a healthcare consortium and arts council, she built a successful financial planning practice, leading to her becoming a gallerist. She rediscovered the satisfaction of ghostwriting for the time-deprived and collaborating with authors whose creative flow hit a log jam. Her addiction to words that inspire, empower, enlighten, and entertain is eclipsed only by her passion for red-wall canyons and the magic of tide pools. Meares, aka Lisette Moss, blossoms in the desert Southwest with her long-time photographer partner and their two agile Aussies.
