With an illustrious literary career spanning over three decades, Alan Goldsher stands as a preeminent ghostwriter, renowned for his exceptional skill in translating his clients' voices, ideas, and visions onto the written page. His diverse portfolio includes collaborations with individuals from various spheres—athletes, actors, comedians, doctors, chefs, and businesspeople. Notable among his clientele are celebrated figures such as actor/comedian Kevin Pollak (A Few Good Men, The Usual Suspects), film director Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and jazz guitarist/vocalist George Benson.

In addition to his prowess as a ghostwriter, Alan is a prolific author, having penned 11 novels, including the acclaimed bestseller Paul Is Undead: The British Zombie Invasion (Simon & Schuster) and My Favorite Fangs: The Story of the von Trapp Family Vampires (St. Martin's Press). His non-fiction titles include Hard Bop Academy: The Sidemen of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers (Hal Leonard), Modest Mouse: A Pretty Good Read (St. Martin’s Press), and Digging Dave Brubeck and Time Out (Post Hill Press).

Goldsher’s sportswriting has graced ESPN the Magazine and Currently covering MLS for Apple TV+, he continues to make an impact in the sports industry. His music journalism has found a home in such esteemed publications as Bass Player and Guitar Player.

A distinguished professional bassist, Alan's musical journey includes recording with icons Janet Jackson, Cypress Hill, and Naughty by Nature. He toured globally with Digable Planets and graced the stage at the 1994 Grammy Awards. As the visionary CEO and founder of Gold Note Records, he has overseen the release of eight albums, five EPs, and 20 singles.
