John DeSimone

John DeSimone is a ghostwriter specializing in memoirs, self-help, business memoirs, and fiction. He’s published novels, short stories, and many of his clients are now published authors.

He began freelancing in 1998 as a Senior Editor for A1 Editorial where he edited fiction and nonfiction. Since 1998 he’s edited and critiqued over a hundred and fifty manuscripts. He left corporate marketing in 2004 when he received his MFA in Creative Writing from Spalding University and began freelancing full time. His first novel, Leonardo’s Chair, was published in 2005. Also in 2005 he became associate editor for Christian Manuscript Critique Service where he still edits and mentors authors from self-help, memoirs, to theology.

He has ghosted and co-authored books for pastors, a drug and alcohol therapist, physicians, and others. He recently completed a memoir for the mother of the world’s only surviving octuplets. The memoir will  be published in 2015 by BenBella Books.
