Sophie Bradshaw

Hi, I’m Sophie and I’m a bestselling ghostwriter and development editor. I’ve  collaborated on over 20 books in the field of self-help, business, memoir, and health & wellness.

I’ve worked with ‘Big 5’ publishers, literary agents and high-profile authors at companies such as Facebook and TikTok to write books that sell. I’ve helped authors land major book deals, TV adaptations, become Amazon bestsellers and launch international speaking careers.

I’m a former editorial director, acquisitions editor and literary agent – in-house roles which have given me a deep understanding of the global non-fiction publishing market over the last 20 years.

I was educated at Cambridge University, am a trustee for a mental health charity and have run writing courses in the UK for senior leaders, business owners, influencers and coaches who want to write a book.

Here’s what some of my authors have said:

“I just arrived back at my home about 15 minutes ago from the airport and I immediately came here to download your edits. I’m completely blown away by how awesome you are. Thank you! It is just so wonderful to see how much care you put into this and how much better you have made it. Wow.” Keith Fulton, author of Maxing Out

”I have so many great things to thank you for – from the pleasure of seeing my book in print, to a book signing, talks across the UK and seeing my work reviewed in the Mail on Sunday. None of this would have happened without you taking a punt on my work, and it’s something that I (and I’m sure many other writers you’ve helped) will always be grateful for.” Nick Holland, author of In Search of Anne Bronte

“I have really enjoyed working with you Sophie. Your sensitivity, vision and efficiency have made you a dream editor… Throughout our time working together I have felt we were on the same wave-length and so it was stimulating bouncing ideas back and forth.” Rachel Trethewey, author of Pearls before Poppies

Other recent projects include:  The Boy with Two Heartswhich has been optioned for TV and adapted for the West End theatre, What Would you Do if You Weren’t Afraid? (Amazon bestseller and TEDx speaker) and The Energy Fixwhich was featured on national television and radio.
