Katz Burstein, Anna

Katz Burstein, Anna

I write and edit nonfiction and fiction, with a particular passion for memoir.

Before dedicating myself full-time to the world of writing, I earned a master’s degree in existential phenomenological therapeutic psychology from Seattle University and worked in the field of mental health and social services for over a decade.

That experience pairs perfectly with my work writing, editing, and book coaching—these vocations are about helping people clarify their thinking, claim their narratives, and express themselves effectively.

I am an author with Chronicle Books, W. W. Norton & Co., and Mountaineers Books, and I have done work for Weldon Owen, Amazon Publishing, Nat Geo Kids, Deloitte, and the City of Seattle. I am happy to help those who want to self-publish, those who wish to pursue traditional publishing, and those who plan to keep their story for personal use.
