Victoria Veldhoen wanted an excuse to ask people about the secrets of their lives without seeming rude so she founded the memoir and nonfiction ghostwriting company Questions Unasked. She currently ghostwrites memoir or nonfiction books for two audiences:

  1. People who are changing the world for the better (i.e. mustache-twirling villains need not apply) who want a book written but don't have the time or inclination to do it all themselves
  2. Seniors who've led exciting lives and want all of their adventures and wisdom preserved forever in a keepsake book for them and their families

Drawing upon decades of writing experience, an MFA in Creative Nonfiction, and her time as editor-in-chief of the Pitkin Review, Victoria works closely with a handful of clients per year to take them from an idea about a book to a full-length manuscript in around 6-12 months. She also offers developmental editing, copyediting, or memoir book coaching on a case-by-case basis.

When she's not writing, she enjoys embarrassing herself at open mic nights at her local bookstore, spending time making sappy family memories with her loved ones, and reading as many escapist fantasy books as she can find. Victoria was also a scientist in a previous life, as she worked for twelve years in biochemistry, so she's happy to nerd out about anything science-related with anyone who will listen.

You can contact Victoria for a no-obligation chat about your book project by scheduling a time to chat here or by emailing her at hi@thisisquestionsunasked.com .
