In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures. Originally from the Midwest, she spent 10-plus years in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. She has traveled to places in Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East. Her favorite spots are those where she can linger and consider the intersections between the people living there and the rest of the world.
