Janis Guggenheim

I began as a journalist, reporting for a newspaper, highlighting local industry. A position as the Chicago correspondent for two nationally distributed New York trade publications followed, along with freelance business writing. I have authored a novel and short story. I have ghostwritten three nonfiction books and a novel. Online experience includes content for a food care website, book reviews, and public relations work. In addition, I have editing experience at all levels.

I have been certified by Amherst Writers and Artists in Writers Workshop Leadership. My major was English at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois, and I subsequently tutored university students in English language, and taught English as a Second Language (ESL) at Oakton Community College.
