Janis Guggenheim

Began as an English major at Northwestern University and University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, and as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, followed by 30+ years of writing, ghostwriting, and editing journalism, fiction, nonfiction, and business. I was a reporter for a local newspaper column that highlighted local industry. That led to a Chicago correspondent position for two nationally distributed New York publications. I have ghostwritten three nonfiction books: a business book wrapped in a fiction format and two memoirs, plus a novel. I have also authored a thriller and a short story. Online experience includes content for a food care website, book reviews, and public relations work. My editing experience is at all levels.
